MS students

We are recruiting new MS students from the Department of Physics and the Graduate Institute of Applied Physics. You will be trained in materials synthesis, device fabrication, advanced characterization, and theoretical background. A first project will provide you an introduction to our research capabilities and then we will develop a research project together that builds on your strengths and interests. Through weekly progress meetings, several mentors will give you feedback and help you on your way. The final goal is the successful defense of a thesis that expands the current knowledge and has impact on the research field.

PhD students

We are looking for motivated and creative students from a wide range of research backgrounds. We hire through the Department of Physics at NTU and the Taiwan International Graduate (TIGP) program. The PhD graduation requirement varies by program but involves the publication of at least one original paper. PhD students will be exposed to different research projects in order to develop a core expertise the ability to mentor students in their research. Financial support for PhD students is available

Interns

Taiwan is offering several internship programs that aim at short term visits of MS and PhD-level students. We have previously hosted students that joined through the Taiwan Experience Education program (TEEP) and the International Internship Pilot Program (IIPP).
