Our research

Exploring nanostructures for future electronics

We are studying the potential of nanostructures for improved electronic devices. Future advances in computing, sensing, and communicating all require faster, better, and cheaper electronic components. We are applying new physical phenomena, such as spin transport, quantum entanglement, and light interactions, for their promise as new amplifiers, memories, and switches. We futhermore develop new materials with unique properties to support development in electronics. Finally, we are gaining new understanding on how simple nanostructure assemblies can demonstrate complicated functionality through emergent processes.
